I’m Nikhil (He/Him, pronounced ‘Nick+Hill’), a design professional with a Master's in Information Management, and a Bachelor’s in Information Technology.

I enjoy collaborating with product, tech, and marketing teams to think outside the box when pushed with constraints. I believe in creating meaningful experiences for the user while also driving business value. I looooove bringing experiences to life through prototypes, and really believe in the power of “showing” instead of “telling”.

My experiences have helped position myself to better understand how to bring value to the business, while maintaining a high bar for the users.

Helping others grow

I'm a design mentor at Amazon, and also mentor design students at UW. Being able to help budding designers gives me joy because I get to pay it forward ... AND ... I get to learn a ton of new stuff in the process!

Creating and building!

There’s just something about creating that really excites me, whether it's legos, desk setup, or guitar pedals – A huge reason why I absolutely love prototyping!

Illustrations & Digital art

My favorite toy right now is the Procreate app on my iPad. I feel most comfortable with just a pencil and paper, but also love adding definition with markers!

Painting & Sketching

My most recent obsession has been using the mighty pencil, to create sketches that are thought provoking. I also dabble in painting and am amazed by how simple brush strokes can create pieces of art!
